Skin Changer
A skin changer — often written as one word, skinchanger — is an application that changes how items look inside a game: weapons, knives, gloves, characters. It works on your own machine, and the change disappears when you close it.
Not a cheat
Appearance only. No wallhack, no aim assist, no advantage of any kind.
Never touches Steam
Nothing is written to your account. Items cannot be traded or sold.
CS2 only, in practice
Other games decide item appearance on their own servers.
Free to start
13,600+ items without paying. No credit card needed.
People mostly want one for the same reason: a knife they like costs more than a monthly rent, and there is no other way to see it in their hands. A skinchanger solves exactly that and nothing else.
Skin changer or cheat?
The two get lumped together, and they should not be. The line is simple: does the tool give you an advantage over the person you are playing against?
A skin changer does
- Replaces models and textures for you
- Adds stickers, name tags, wear values
- Changes agents and gloves
A cheat does
- Shows enemies through walls
- Aims and fires for you
- Alters movement and recoil
Which games have one
Fewer than people expect. A skin changer only works when the game trusts its own client to decide how items look. Most modern games do not.
CS2
Weapons, knives, gloves, agents, stickers, charms and medals. This is what Touch Skins does.
CS:GO
CS:GO was replaced by CS2 in 2023. Old CS:GO skin changers no longer work.
Valorant
Riot Vanguard runs at kernel level and blocks any external process touching the game.
Dota 2
Cosmetics are server-authoritative, so a client-side changer has nothing to change.
Rust
Skins are validated server-side on every spawn.
Minecraft
Skins are a built-in feature — you change them in your account settings, no tool needed.
If a site promises you a Valorant or Rust skin changer, it is selling either nothing or malware. Both games decide item appearance on their own servers, and no local application can override that.

Common questions
What is a skin changer?
A skin changer is an application that changes how items look for you inside a game — weapons, knives, gloves, characters. It works locally: the game client draws a different model and texture than the one you actually own. Nothing is added to your account, and nothing can be sold or traded.
Is a skin changer the same as a cheat?
No. A cheat gives you an advantage — it shows enemy positions, aims for you, or changes movement. A skin changer only changes appearance. It does not read game memory for tactical data and gives you no advantage over other players.
Do other players see my skins?
In CS2 with Touch Skins, other Touch Skins users on the same server see your skins. Players without the app see your real inventory. Skins never appear in your Steam inventory.
Which games have working skin changers?
In practice, only CS2. Valorant, Dota 2 and Rust either validate items on the server or run kernel-level anti-cheat that blocks external processes. Any site promising a Valorant skin changer is either selling nothing or selling malware.
Does a skin changer cost money?
Touch Skins is free — over 13,600 items, with a limited number of inventory slots. A subscription removes the limit and unlocks the full custom collection. No credit card is needed to start.
