Getting Started

What is Touch Skins and is it free?
Touch Skins is a free skinchanger for CS2. It changes the appearance of weapons, knives, gloves, agents, and adds medals, stickers and other items. The basic version is completely free — up to 10 items in your inventory, with some categories available for free. A Premium subscription unlocks unlimited items and full access to the entire custom skins collection. Skins are only visible in CS2 while the app is running — they do not appear in your Steam inventory. All Touch Skins users can see each other's skins on the same server.
How do I get started with Touch Skins?
1. Create an account at touchskins.io/signup (email, Google, Telegram, Discord, VK). 2. Add skins to your inventory at touchskins.io/add. 3. Download the app at touchskins.io/download. 4. Log in inside the app — it will open your default browser, make sure you're logged in on the website in that browser. 5. Click "Launch Touch Skins" — Steam will close, initialization will start, then Steam and CS2 will reopen with your skins.
Where can I download Touch Skins?
Download at touchskins.io/download. Works only on Windows (10 and 11). Linux and Mac are not supported. The app has a digital signature. If your browser or Windows blocks the download — it's a false positive, click "Save" or "Download anyway".
How do I add skins in CS2?
Go to touchskins.io/add, choose a category (weapons, knives, gloves, agents, stickers, medals), click on the item you want. Launch Touch Skins and open CS2. Up to 10 items are free, subscription removes the limit entirely.
How do I open cases?
Go to touchskins.io/add, find the cases or keys category, select a case and the number of keys. Enter the game and open your cases. Drop chances are close to real CS2 cases. Items you get go into your inventory.
Does Touch Skins work on Linux or Mac?
No. Touch Skins is a .exe application that works only on Windows. However, the touchskins.io website works on any device — you can manage your inventory from your phone.

Inventory & Items

How many items can I add for free?
Up to 10 standard CS2 items for free. You can increase slots with Stars (in-app currency) or get a subscription which removes the limit entirely. If your subscription expires and you had more items than the limit — extras are removed automatically.
How do I remove skins from my inventory?
Go to the /inventory section on the website, click on the item. If it has no settings — it will be removed immediately. If it has settings — a window will open, select "Remove from inventory" at the bottom.
What are Stars and how do I get them?
Stars are Touch Skins' in-app currency. They're used to buy custom skins, stickers, medals, and extra slots. You can get Stars by: purchasing on the website, through promo codes from the Telegram channel t.me/touchskins, or by selling previously bought items. Stars cannot be withdrawn as real money.
What are custom items?
Custom items are unique skins that don't exist in regular CS2. They're purchased with Stars, stay with you forever, and don't take up inventory slots. Pricing works on supply and demand: new items start at 10 Stars, price increases by 1 Star after each purchase. With an active subscription, all custom items are available for free.
Can other players see my skins?
All Touch Skins users can see each other's skins when playing on the same server. Players without Touch Skins cannot see your skins. Items do not appear in your Steam inventory.
My inventory cleared / skins disappeared
The most common reason is an expired subscription. When it expires, your inventory resets to the free limit. Items bought with Stars remain. Solution: renew your subscription or reduce your inventory to 10 items. If your subscription is active but skins disappeared — restart the app, check your internet, make sure anti-cheats are disabled.
Agent has default hands instead of the character model
Hands are a separate model that's not available on all agents yet — they're being added gradually. If an agent has default hands, try selecting a different agent. Agent hands and glove skins are different items — it's best not to combine gloves with a custom agent as they may conflict.

Premium Subscription & Payment

What does the subscription include?
The subscription unlocks unlimited inventory (without it — up to 10 items) and free access to all custom items without purchasing with Stars, including future items.
How much does the subscription cost?
In USD: 1 day — $0.99, 30 days — $5.99, 1 year — $14.99, lifetime — $19.99 (40% off). In RUB: 1 day — 99₽, 30 days — 299₽, 1 year — 699₽, lifetime — 899₽ (40% off). The subscription is a one-time payment with no auto-renewal.
What payment methods are available?
International cards (Visa, Mastercard via Stripe), Russian cards, Ukrainian cards, SBP, Steam skins (via SkinsBack), Telegram Stars, cryptocurrency, PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You don't need to cancel. The subscription is a one-time payment with no auto-renewal. When the period ends, it simply stops working. No recurring charges.
Where do I enter a promo code?
Click on your avatar on the website, then go to the "Promo code" section. Promo codes are shared in the Touch Skins Telegram channel, through promotions and partners. The only permanent discount is 40% off the lifetime subscription.
Is there a free trial?
There's no trial period. The free version already lets you test the product: up to 10 items and some categories are free. Free premium access can be obtained through promo codes, giveaways, or compensation.
I paid but the subscription didn't appear
Refresh the page on the website. Make sure you're logged into the same account you paid from. If you paid with Steam skins — the subscription is issued after skins sell via SkinsBack, which can take 1 to 8 days. If that doesn't help — email support@touchskins.io with your UID, payment method, date and amount.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are generally not issued. You can test the product for free before purchasing. Refunds are possible in exceptional cases — if Touch Skins hasn't worked for several days and all FAQ solutions have been tried. Contact support@touchskins.io.
How do I pay with Telegram Stars?
Telegram Stars payment only works if you logged in via Telegram. If you logged in via email, Google, Discord or VK — this payment method is unavailable. You cannot change the login method on an existing account — you'd need a new account via Telegram.
It says "top up balance" even though I have Premium
This is normal. The message appears for all users. With an active subscription, you don't need to top up Stars — all custom items are already available for free and slot limits are removed.

Bans & Anti-Cheats

Can I get banned for using Touch Skins?
The risk of a VAC ban exists but is minimal. Cases of bans are extremely rare. Our developers monitor every CS2 update. To reduce risks: don't use Touch Skins on Faceit, EAC or Vanguard, play only on regular Valve servers, always use the latest version of the app.
Which anti-cheats does Touch Skins work with?
Works with: VAC, server-side anti-cheats, regular CS2 matchmaking, Premier, public servers. Does NOT work with: Faceit (instant ban), EAC, Vanguard, FastCup, and any leagues with a client-side anti-cheat.
Can I play matchmaking with Touch Skins?
Yes. Touch Skins works in regular matchmaking, Premier, and public CS2 servers. Don't confuse matchmaking with Faceit — you cannot use Touch Skins on Faceit.
Can I use Touch Skins on Faceit?
No. Using Touch Skins on Faceit will result in a ban 100% of the time. It also doesn't work on EAC, Vanguard, FastCup, and other platforms with active anti-cheat.
Touch Skins on an alt account — will my main get banned?
No. Using Touch Skins on an alt account does not affect your main account. You can play Faceit without Touch Skins on your main and matchmaking with Touch Skins on your alt.
How do I disable FaceIT anti-cheat to run Touch Skins?
Open Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc), end the FACEITService and FACEITClient processes. Disable FaceIT from startup: Task Manager → Startup → FaceIT → Disable. Restart your computer before launching Touch Skins to ensure all anti-cheat processes are fully stopped.

Troubleshooting

The app won't launch, what do I do?
Make sure anti-cheats are disabled (FaceIT, EAC, Vanguard) — check Task Manager. Re-download the app from touchskins.io/download. Try enabling a VPN. If you use Zapret — it may interfere with the connection.
Infinite loading / stuck on "logging in"
Most often caused by a running anti-cheat (even in the background) or connection issues (ISP restrictions). Open Task Manager and check for anti-cheats, re-download the app, try a VPN.
Skins don't appear in-game
Make sure you're using the same account in the app and on the website. Disable EAC, FaceIT, Vanguard anti-cheats. Re-download the app, try a VPN. If skins worked before — your subscription may have expired or you need to update the app.
I can't log into my account
Restart the app, re-download from touchskins.io/download, try a VPN. Can't log in via Telegram — try a different browser or log in via Email instead. Forgot your password — use "Forgot password" on the login page.
Black screen on launch
Restart the app and CS2. Make sure anti-cheats are disabled. Try a VPN. If nothing helps — email support@touchskins.io.
Game crashes or freezes
Disable all anti-cheats, re-download the app, try a VPN. If you found a new bug — send a description to support@touchskins.io.
"Failed target OEP invocation" error
Caused by ISP restrictions. Solution: enable a VPN and relaunch Touch Skins. If it still doesn't work with VPN — re-download the app, make sure anti-cheats are disabled, try mobile internet.
"Failed connecting to server, error code: 0" error
The app can't connect to Touch Skins servers. Re-download the app, try enabling/disabling VPN, check if your antivirus or firewall is blocking the connection.
Antivirus is blocking Touch Skins
This is a false positive. The app has a digital signature. Add Touch Skins to your antivirus exceptions (both the folder and .exe file). For Windows Defender: Windows Security → Virus protection → Exclusions. For Kaspersky: Settings → Threats and exclusions. For Avast/AVG: Settings → Exclusions.
Do I need a VPN and which one should I use?
A VPN may be needed if the app won't launch, shows a connection error, or has infinite loading. Any VPN will work. If one doesn't help — try a different service or server.
Website shows "Download the app" even though I already did
The website doesn't detect that you're logged into the app. Open the app, click "Log in", make sure you're using the same account in the browser and in the app. The app opens your default browser — log into touchskins.io in whichever browser opens.

Account

How do I register?
Go to touchskins.io/signup. Registration is available via Email, Telegram, Google, Discord and VK.
How do I reset / change my password?
On the login page, click "Forgot password", enter the email linked to your account, follow the link in the email, and set a new password.
How do I find my UID?
UID is your unique identifier. Click on your avatar at the top of the website — your UID is shown in the profile.
Can I change my email or login method?
No. Email, login method and linked Telegram cannot be changed on an existing account. If you need a different login method — register a new account. Subscriptions, Stars and inventory cannot be transferred.
I can't log in via Telegram
This may be a Telegram bug. Try a different browser, enable a VPN, clear cache and cookies, or log in via Email instead of Telegram.
Can I use Touch Skins on two computers at the same time?
No. One account — one active connection.
Can I delete my account?
Deletion is possible through support. When deleted, your subscription, Stars, inventory and all data are permanently erased. Email support@touchskins.io with your reason.
Profile settings — nickname and avatar
Click on your avatar at the top of the website → Settings. Nickname can be changed anytime (up to 16 characters). Avatar supports JPG, PNG, GIF, video. GIF and video avatars are animated. Maximum file size — 40 MB.

How do I contact support?
Email: support@touchskins.io — real people, response within 24-48 hours. Telegram bot: @touchskinssuportbot — quick answers, a live agent will respond within 24-48 hours. The website widget is bot-only, live agents don't connect there.
The bot isn't helping, I need a real person
Email support@touchskins.io or message the Telegram bot @touchskinssuportbot. Include your UID (click your avatar), what's not working, and what you've already tried. For payment issues — include receipt, date, amount, payment method and what you purchased.
When will bugs be fixed / when are updates coming?
Developers are actively working on fixes. New skins and models are added as they're ready, there are no fixed dates. Follow updates in the Telegram channel t.me/touchskins.
